The Challenge
A mixed-use affordable housing development in downtown Los Angeles required detailed BIM coordination and shop drawing production for a cost-sensitive project where rework was not an option. The coordination scope covered structural, MEP, and specialty systems across a multi-story building with below-grade parking.
Our Approach
We led constructability reviews, BIM coordination, model maintenance with field data updates, RFI management, QA/QC on specialty models and 2D drawing packages, and facilitated BIM coordination meetings with all trades.
Outcome
Coordinated BIM model with field-verified updates, complete shop drawing packages for structural and MEP systems, and a fully resolved RFI log.
