Mixed-Use Student Housing Tower

A 15-story mixed-use student housing tower with 6 below-grade parking levels in the heart of downtown Madison presented extreme urban site logistics challenges: tight property lines, adjacent active structures, tower crane positioning constraints, and a compressed schedule driven by the academic calendar.
We developed the full 4D construction simulation and VDC logistics plan: tower crane reach and swing radii modeled and tested against the site boundary and adjacent buildings, material staging areas simulated through each construction phase, and MEP coordination delivered for the complex mixed-use program (retail, apartments, parking garage).
Delivered tower crane logistics plan with zero conflicts to adjacent structures, phased 4D schedule accepted by owner and GC, MEP coordination package for residential, retail, and parking levels. Site logistics planning prevented 3 potentially costly crane positioning conflicts.
